The Origami Kyusu Tea Pot is a modern Japanese teapot designed for brewing Japanese green tea, Japanese black tea and other loose-leaf teas. Its flat-bottom design allows the tea leaves to spread evenly across the stainless steel strainer, helping to extract the flavours and aromas of the tea more consistently.
The stainless steel strainer can be placed on the inverted lid after brewing, helping prevent over-extraction and allowing you to control the strength of your tea. The handle is positioned perpendicular to the spout, making the teapot comfortable and easy to pour.
With a practical brewing capacity of around 200ml, it is ideal for preparing tea for 1–2 people. The porcelain body has a full capacity of 280ml and is made in Japan.
